Due to our continued growth and the demand for our services we require the following personnel:
Mining Superintendent to be based at our Tarakan Project reporting to the Operations Manager to provide the following :- Technical support to the operation,
- Monitor equipment performance,
- Maintain high safety standards and safe work practices all the times,
- To participate in producing and delivering coal to the required standard blend cad quality on time and to budget,
- Review daily production and ensure compliance with mine planning.
Qualifications:- Recognized mining engineering qualifications,
- Minimum 10 years experience in large open cut mining,
- A working knowledge of Surpac and Minescape mine planning software will be advantage,
- Proven experience up to Supervisory/Superintendent Level with mining contractors,
- Experienced in subcontract management, cost control and staff management,
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills in Bahasa and English,
- Computer literate,
- Possess Madya (POM) Mining Indonesia Competency certificate,
- Be an efficient, honest, team player, with analytical skills, attention to detail and quality, be persistent and systems oriented.
Senior Plant Superintendent to be based at our Tarakan Project reporting to Plant Manager to provide the following:- Coordinate with site staff to ensure plant on is maintained in accordance with procedures and manufacture s recommendations and to advise optimum levels of utilization, availability and cost effectiveness,
- Ensure employees within the Plant Department work in a safe, timely, efficient, environmentally aware and cost conscious manner,
- Develop and implement Preventive Maintenance schedules,
- Liaise with OEM dealers to achieve optimum performance and related costs,
- Ensure there is effective utilization of workshop personnel and resources to achieve optimum performance in all facets,
- Establish priorities for the repair of equipment in order to maximize utilization of the plant fleet to achieve production targets,
- Liaise with operations with recommendations of equipment breakdowns and damage causes,
- Review mechanical repairs and services to ensure compliance with the recording requirements of plant system and procedures manual,
- Review workshop costs to maintain/reduce the cost budget on all plant items as determined by the internal plant rates,
- Provide Plant Department employees with the opportunity to increase knowledge and skills by recognizing and recommending training in order to achieve workplace competencies.
Qualifications:- Recognized Trade and/mechanical engineering qualifications,
- Minimum 10 years industrial experience in mining in the similar role,
- Have experience at a Supervisory/Superintendent level,
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills in Bahasa and English,
- Possess Madya Mining Indonesia Competency certificate,
- Computer literate,
- Be an efficient, honest, team player, with analytical skills, attention to detail and quality, be persistent and system oriented.
